When I fly, I make sure those around me have turned off their cell phones and other electronic equipment as requested by the flight attendants. All too often someone will use their cell while taking off or during landing. When I mention that it should be turned off, they often angry and say something like - "Who do you think you are? The police!" It's unfortunate that these individuals put their own pursuit of happiness above the safety of others on the plane. Also, each of us is part of enforcing our laws. We don't have many of the authorities of the police and other special law enforcement agencies, but the country needs each of us to be vigilant.
